This class is also about a relationship with a guide who will help you navigate one of the biggest challenges we face in life.

I’m not just interested in you signing up, I’m interested in connecting with you beforehand and seeing if it’s a right fit for you. me, and the other students in any particular course. I focus on finding the right people for each class to create a container of love and support. To facilitate this I invite you into a 20 minute conversation with me where you can ask all your questions and find out more about what the class entails. Also, I can get to know you too and make sure you are ready and in the right place.

The next step is to schedule your call at the link below.

On the call, we’ll go over:

·     A little bit about your loss, your background, and where you are in your grief.

·     What you’re looking to learn, grow into, and achieve through the classes, even if it just to ‘feel better’.

·     Details on the The Heart of Grieving for Grievers modality and all details.

And, regardless of if you join the class or not, my hope is that you’ll leave the call feeling inspired to care for yourself and honor your grief in a more healthy and holistic way.

I look forward to connecting with you soon! Pamela

SEMINARS AND LIVE ONE DAY WORKSHOPS:

The Heart of GRIEVING LIVE seminars

The heart of Grieving Workshops are theater seat-style seminars and offer validation, understanding, and some tools that cover the basic survival skills for mourning and grieving your loss. With 35 talking points that correlate with her book The Heart of Grieving, Grief Educator Pamela Ann Noxon helps you understand your own unique experience of grief and allows you a safe space to navigate the extreme challenges faced in our grief-illiterate culture. Touching on numerous aspects of grieving in the modern world, participants leave this comprehensive workshop with insight, validation, and numerous coping tools to make it on the outside.

EMOTIONS OF GRIEF SEMINARS

Emotions of Grief are theater seat-style seminars and offer a comprehensive overview of all the emotions attendant with grief; from nothingness to feeling overwhelmed by multiple or conflicting feelings and answers the question “what do I do with all these feelings?”. With specific coping techniques and exercises to help you manage feelings like fear, anger, confusion, sadness, guilt, and more, this proactive workshop addresses 40 emotions and how to function, manage, and even be with them as you mourn and grieve your loss of a Loved One. Using a variety of techniques from breathing, movement, visualization, tapping, EMDR, mid-body exercises, meditations, and cognitive exercises, this course is a must for handling the flood of big feelings that grief and loss bring.

Creative Grieving Workshops

Creative Grief Workshops [welcome non-artists!] are very participation heavy and focus on using various techniques from Art Therapy by a Certified Art Therapy Practitioner to access our natural creative expression and abilities to work with our subconscious mind to help share your grief, deal with confusing feelings, the other people in your life, how to integrate love, loss, and living, in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgemental space. This Workshop is absolutely not about what you create; it is about the therapeutic value of creating itself.

Holistic Grieving Workshops

Using a variety of mind-body techniques from a trained Holistic Health Practitioner and Grief Educator, these Workshops offer a well-rounded approach to help share your grief, deal with confusing feelings, deal with other people in your life, different grief styles, how to integrate love, loss, and living, functioning in the “real world” with grief and loss, possible trauma responses to loss, time and spatial awareness issues after loss, the changes loss brings, self-care, the profound emotional evolution of grief and loss, and more, all in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgemental space. Holistic Grieving Workshops are theater seat-style seminars that offer validation, understanding, and holistic tools that cover the basic survival skills for mourning and grieving your loss.

Traumatic Loss Grieving Workshops

Reserved specifically for those who have experienced trauma with their loss: death by suicide, addiction, mental illness, or violent crime, these Workshops integrate some of the Holistic and Creative Workshop tools along with extra work that addresses and assists with the natural trauma responses from very traumatic experiences. We are very careful to place attendees in Groups that support and protect them.

Pet Loss / Grieving Workshops

Pet Loss Workshops are for anyone honoring the loss of a non-human Loved One. We love them too and honor the unique love - and grief after loss - that a pet or companion brings to your life. We separate Pet Loss into its own category of Workshop not because it is “less than” other types of loss, but because the relationship you had is handled in a slightly different way in the Workshops.

INHERITEd Grief Workshops

Generations of ancestors before us dealt with trauma loss and death and even the hardships of separation and war and more. The new science of Bio Genetics shows that their experience overlays on our DNA to get passed down from generation to generation. But their strengths and hopes for us were passed down as well. Using generational healing, storytelling, ancestry research, genogram [ancestral family trees], and family tree mapping, this fascinating workshop dives deep into the roots of your resilience and strength and honors your inherent abilities to withstand loss.

Workshops come with syllabi for support - downloadable for Zoom and print version for live workshops. Attendees can purchase any of Pamela Ann Noxon’s corresponding published material for a discount with tickets (or at live in-person events) for ongoing support and reminders at the seminar.

Grief Movement Workshops

While all of our Workshops have some breathing and movement exercises, these Workshops focus heaving on using the body as a tool to support your grief and self-care. Based on Paul Dennison’s groundbreaking work. This is not a yoga class and anyone can benefit from movement and breathing work even from a chair. Those with severely limited physical abilities should contact us first. Please bring (or for Zoom have ready) a yoga mat, towel, and pillow. Grief Movement Workshops do not have a syllabus.
